I wouldn't do that. Your safest bet would be to have a jumper you can remove to isolate the output of the HC14 from the PGC/PGD pin while you're programming.
tumbleweed Today, 13:12Thanks,
Not sure how I would have and looking at that register even any value 0's or 1's, it would still work??
Considering the application doesn't require any precise timing, should I provide a...
sounds like you have over written the osccal/ value stored at the top of memory for 12f508.
Most programmers will not reprog that chip when the value is missing.
The old pickit2 can reset a value...
Thanks,
I've removed all other installs and switched to 5.35.
But I'm having problesm with 12F508 micros, seem like I get 2 chances to program the micro then, I get failed to program device...
you will need to post some code that demonstrates that problem
richard Today, 09:36its very easy to do.
on a pic curiosity board the pins are just there begging you to use them. you can kinda forget the programmer is on board
when there is no need to plug and unplug it at all....
To be clear, I will NOT have the circuit powered when I'm programming. The PCB must be removed from the main board in order to be programmed (I use the same connector for operation and for...
Demon Today, 04:16Hello,
I've been working on a 18F46K80 and am at a point where I want to disable the EUSART receiver. I tried RCSTA1.7 = 0 and I get a compile error. I also tried RCSTA.7 = 0 and RCSTA = 0 with...
Re: Reusing PGC & PGD pins
I conect ICSP directly to pins. And from konektor, other part of circuit connect via 2K resistor. If you use pin as inputs, then other hardver driving state of pin. So not to have colision with...
